Melancholy neoclassical dungeon synth from Austria. Returning to Lord Sargeburt's Carmilla-heptalogy for the third and most romantic chapter, presenting minimalist piano music and tender atmospheres with haunting and yearning undertones. An emotional work suited for nostalgic daydreaming as well as sentimental meditations on love and solitude.

Released digitally back in 2017, this is yet another older relic from the Sargeburt archives being presented under the Gondolin banner. This third part follows Part I: Autumn (2020, GON065) and Part II: Ruin (2021, GON081).

My favorite out of the three I believe.The sound is more aggressive and fits the cover art of what looks like a perilous journey for the protagonist. Fits well at being the second in the trilogy of albums. Every song is good and the cassette tape and package is of good quality. A Great buy that deserves a vinyl edition. Joshua Laleina
