Kaptain Carbon A visual aesthetic is something I adore as I feel these releases are apart of a family and Nameless King steps out to not only be a strong release from Gondolin records but one of the better releases this year. Mournful yet airy, Downfall of Drangleic carries the burden of a thousand years of grief in a haunting record that is polarized in its emotions. I want to feel relaxed butthere is this lingering sandess which greys out the world around me. Favorite track: The Drangleic Royal Army.

Evergreen Nameless King always seems to have such a rich and unique atmosphere. It is hard to explain it. But this album is probably my favorite of theirs.

No doubt one of the most noble citizens of Gondolin is the Nameless King and his atmospheric medievalist dungeon synth. This Alabaman project has been consistently delivering enticing albums with a seemingly light approach and a driving tempo, but always with a deeper tension lurking just beneath the surface.

Following up on the release of 'Sovereignless Souls' from almost a year ago, we stay in the Dark Souls universe, but with a more refined sound, some darker moods and arguably even stronger melodic compositions.
